The 7th plenum devised a budget plan to spend up to 62,148.52 EUR in 2026. This page gives an overview of our planned spendings.

• With around 45,000 EUR, we plan to spend around three quarters of our total budget on paid NewPipe development work. Additional money is dedicated to hardware for contributors (e.g. test devices or workstation upgrades), and for buying the rights to the NewPipe logo from the original creator.
• Taxes amount for most of our Operational Cost, as we reserve a budget in case we need to pay taxes for four years up to now (2023, 2024, 2025, 2026). We also have to pay administrative fees to our notary and the registration court. Additionally, a percentage of the money that is given to us goes towards banking and transaction fees.
• We have once again allocated some money for Conference participation, in accordance with our Travel cost policy. The open source conferences we have considered attending in the first half of 2026 were FOSDEM, where we held a talk, and FrOSCon, where we plan to have a booth again.
• Our Infrastructure is billed recurringly by our hosting providers. We are additionally paying a contractor for some improvements to our infrastructure in 2026.
• Like last year, we are planning Donations towards Weblate and Liberapay.
• Finally, Merchandise is used as thank-you gifts for contributors, and as promotional material for our conference attendances.
